    Current Rule

    IV., C., 5. a) The Color Guard Review Committee will consist of the Executive Board of the circuit (excluding the Percussion Coordinator) and three elected unit representatives.
    Proposed Change

    The Color Guard Review Committee will consist Review committee proposal needs to be appointed and not elected

    1. Make up
      1.  Voting Members of the Board
      2. The President will only vote in the event of a tie
      3. Judges coordinator
      4. Trial Judges for comments only (judges coordinator discretion)
      5. One judge for Movement, Equipment, GE and DA
        1. One judge can review for more than one caption
      6. One Director from Reg A, Scholastic A (appointed)
    Rationale

    Adding clarity to the Judges Coordinator’s participation on the committee, since the position was classified as a WGPO hired employee in 2025. Participation in the review committee would be an excellent learning opportunity for the trial judges, especially if they were not in attendance at the appealing unit’s most recent performance. Note: This will be updated on the website as well
